Benjamin T. Secoy, O.D. – Optometrist

A native St. Louisan, Dr. Benjamin T. Secoy is a graduate of Truman State University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.  He received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Missouri-St. Louis College of Optometry.  Dr. Secoy practices full scope optometry which includes fitting many different types of contact lenses as well as the treatment and management of ocular diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, and diabetic eye disease.  He received training in the treatment and management of ocular disease from Washington University School of Medicine and the St. Louis Veterans Affairs Medical Center.  He has owned and operated Manchester Eye Care since 2001.

Dr. Secoy is a member of the American Optometric Association, Missouri Optometric Association, St. Louis Optometric Society, and Beta Sigma Kappa, an optometric honor society.  He has served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Missouri-St. Louis College of Optometry and as a clinical examiner for the National Board of Examiners in Optometry.  He is a proud supporter of Optometry Giving Sight and he volunteers for InfantSEE.  In his spare time, he enjoys sports, traveling, and spending time with his family.  He and his wife Michelle have a daughter, Lauren, and a son, Bryce.
